Public Remarks: This beautifully kept historic farm has been transformed into a charming, fully equipped event venue with mountain views, rolling open spaces, easy access to Asheville and gentle interior roadways. A spectacular barn venue includes an event hall capable of seating over 200 people; large, modern bathrooms; dressing rooms; a catering kitchen and a cooking kitchen; two large porches (each 60’ long with built-in bars); and a large, rustic downstairs area. A smaller milking barn has been converted for more cozy events (and includes a unique bar in the adjoining silo). The 1911-built farmhouse has been carefully restored and modernized with central heat and air conditioning, WiFi, television and sound system, yet fully retains the charm turn-of-the-century farm life. Stands of old hardwood trees, a flat and open grassy meadow, oak-lined paths and a small pond complete the full package of mountain living, all peacefully and privately serene yet less than 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.
