Realtracs, the largest multiple listing service (MLS) in Tennessee, was named a winner of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Leading Edge Award: For Leadership in RESO Web API Adaptation. The two Leading Edge Award categories represent the inaugural class for outstanding achievement in RESO’s two most forward-thinking products.
Realtracs earned the recognition for being an industry leader willing to move from transporting data through the aging and proprietary Real Estate Transaction Standard (RETS) to the modern RESO Web API, built upon an open standard that is used in many fields beyond real estate.
“We pride ourselves most on two things: our people and our product,” said Stuart White, president and CEO of Realtracs. “Our world-class staff is always working diligently to keep our product on the cutting edge of innovation in the real estate industry, and we are honored to be recognized for this effort by RESO.”
“RESO continues to find creative, new ways to achieve its goals of accelerating innovation and enhancing data interoperability,” said RESO CEO Sam DeBord. “Our members not only drive RESO’s strategic decisions, but contribute their time and effort toward applying those innovations at their home organizations.”
RESO provides the foundation for streamlined real estate technology through the creation and certification of standards. To see the complete list of this year’s winners, visit here.
